Recognizing the need for a quality, affordable method of providing trust in a site’s security, WebSafe Shield was built to provide an efficient, scalable means for people to join our security-conscious community.

Utilizing industry-standard software and tools, WebSafe Shield conducts security vulnerability assessments from a database of over 21,000 vulnerability checks. When a website passes our security vulnerability assessment, the website is authorized to display our WebSafe Shield seal.  This seal allows visitors to become more confident interacting with a secured website, thereby increasing you visitor’s adoption of new services.

WebSafe Shield was privately funded in September 2007, with staff in the US, Romania and India.  Our security professionals are CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certified.
